It may be desirable to create a number of different KDE panels that remain static or raise when you touch various parts of the screen edge.

In order to create a new panel:

1. Right click on the panel
2. Select "Add New Panel"
3. Select "Panel"

This gives you a second KDE panel but as you might notice there's a teensy-weensy problem. The Panel options only apply to the original panel and do not affect the new one. Because of this, the new panel is pretty much static.

However, this can be easily remedied.

1. Open a Console
2. Type
Code:
touch ~/.kde/share/config/kickerrc
and press return

If you go to the Panel Options (Right click >> "Configure Panel"), you will now notice a drop down menu in the top left that allows you to select which menu you want to change.

Repeat every time you wish to add a new panel.
