Source: LG DVD, PS2 & Xbox 360 (the latter gets streamed content of our LAN via TVersity) Sound: Sony STR-DB790 running 6xKef Coda 80's 1x Soundlab GO97F sending the sub channel from the Sony to 2x18" Subs (they currently only get 200W each @8ohm but I'll be tweaking the cabling arrangement so the amp sends a bridged output for 680W of bass! ) Vision: 28" Phillips CRT Infocus X2 (currently not working ) I've also (depressingly) a Rotel RMB 1075 going "spare" because my Sony's not got preouts to utilise it, so the next purchase is either a processor to replace the Sony (but that'll be pricey) or a source that can act as one (which'll be a compromise given onboard decoding is seldom that spectacular) AND a Peerless XLS10 needing an enclosure. But times have been, and are, quite tight in recent months. WITH EDITS

I currently have: Tosh 28" CRT Yammy 7.1 100w amp Pioneer non-upscaling spinner Mordaunt Short up front, then Gale behind 6.0 setup No sub, but the fronts are VS300 floorstanders though, so DD EX and DTS ES go pretty loud and low.
I've stayed lo def, because I can't stand the cost of a new TV and player. The DVD picture I have is better than most LCDs I've seen. Would like to upgrade, but will try to hold out until winter when I shouldn't be outside enjoying the summer any more. Seems most of you have better systems than me, but that's to be expected.

I don't know if you'd call it a home cinema system, but I'm currently rockin':
28" Sony Wega telly Sony DVP-NS405 DVD player Cambridge Audio A5 amp 2x Mission 737 renaissance floor standing speakers
Does the biz.

Hm. My setups are more of a mismatch of equipment hashed together into a system that not only looks impressive but sounds impressive too. All done on the cheap, as this is a student house, but none of it actually sold AS home cinema equipment. For instance the Kenwood amp in the front room was driving my PC kenwood speakers, but I found it to be WAY too bassy, so opted to use it as the bass amp and get an A1 for my room (as it didn't need the power of the Kenwood amp either; room's too small for that).
Front Room:
37" Full HD Hannspree flatscreen. Xbox 360 HDDVD drive. Yamaha DSP-E492 (IIRC) 5.1 amp driving centre + rear. Cambridge A1 driving L/R. Kenwood amp driving sub. Beng speakers L/R. Samsung 12" Sub. Toshiba rears. Unknown centre (beefcake-loud).
Bedroom:
2 x 24" Full HD Digimate monitors (can watch movies whilst playing games!) Blu-ray drive (some sony thing). Creative X-fi Titanium leading to a Cambridge A1 amp. 2 x Kenwood monitors (Better than my entire front-room setup, and better than my mates B&O setup, all for less than £100 second-hand!)
