Forget every other kind of compact camera that there currently is, I want one of these.

Yes, I know it says it's a concept camera, but there's at least one prototype out in the wild.

Looks good but isn't it more of a hybrid rather than compact?

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Right. So because a phone taken pictures does it then make it not a phone?
I'm just curious as to where the line gets drawn. You can play DVDs on a playstation so is that no longer a games console?
I think with the WVIL it's a camera first and foremost, everything else would be of secondary consideration.

That looks very nice!

I'm surprised they are able to mount the sensor far enough away from the lens though and fit in the OLED screen.

It's promising a lot from a very small package. I'm almost surprised they haven't stuck down GPS positioning as well...
If that does make it to market, I'll be pleasantly surprised if all those features are present.
But yes... I wouldn't say no to it either.

I wasn't refering to additional functionality, more to your comment on forgeting every other compact. With this model as soon as you put glass on it then it ceases to be compact.

No worries. I probably should have been more clear but I was in a rush to leave the house this morning.

Apparently this was a hoax.
If so then they should still make it.
