Yeah, I read about this the other day. Hasselblad already does a 50 m'pixel camera too. I've been mulling searching for a price for it, but haven't yet plucked up the courage. (8+)

Unless I win the lottery I am not expecting a lump sum to buy for a while.

I just checked and the 50 megapixel H3DII-50MS is only £21.8k.

That price is in dollars. It would actually cost us £12,995*. Sorry for being pedantic, but I wanted to move away from the headline figure...
* When I say "us" I mean the people who live in England and use pounds... obviously for those who live abroad the price would be different.
