I agree but i'm just trying to say its easy to think you need all the bits, or at least a few more bits than you have, when you can have lots of fun and take some great shots without. Tripods are very useful / essential depending on what you want to do of course, i'd never disagree with that.
Those pics are much sharper than they appear on here, I didn't realise Imageshack compresses the hell out of them.
Both shots were taken on a very dull day, dull enough to want to put the lights on in your house if you were at home, if that makes sense. I used ISO 800 for both shots, but the F/2 150mm lens is rather wobbly (nosedives) when used on the Leica takes some getting used to.

I already trying out the camera - taking it everywhere, including work at the mo, snapping just about anything.
I've easily taken 1000+ photos already, just trying out different settings - that number dropped to around 200 once I sorted out the dross.
Already ordered a couple of spare batteries for it, I think I'll need them - I have seen a battery grip available for it, but it looks a bit big and cumbersome.

Are you shooting in RAW or JPEG ? Also when you shoot, make sure you use the 'NORMAL' gradiation mode. The AUTO Gradiation option activates the Shadow Adjustment Technology and it can royally mess up your pics. It defaults to it on some settings, depending on which Oly camera it is. I never use it, it's awful.

Both. Well, the camera saves the image in both formats. I do have the gradation set to normal, but I didn't know the auto setting can foul things up, thanks for the tip.
