HDR? they look more CGI than anything

Some are without much doubt HDR. Others are just really great captures (such as the Puffins). Nobody says you have to like 'em, heck I don't like all of them. Mark |

Personally I hate HDR. I know people spend a lot of effort shooting and merging them but for me photography is about a single exposure. An exception to this would be panoramic stitching, but aside from the overlap each shot is at least different. |

I quite like a lot of those - and an HDR effect can be generated after the event if you've shot your single frame with that in mind (slightly overexposing to compensate). So I'm not anti HDR in any way - used selectively it's very effective, IMHO. |
