Some amazing examples here. I'd love to give this a go but don't have a spare DSLR to convert!

Beautiful shots. Makes me want to get my EOS 100 out of storage and load in some infrared film.

some infrared film.

Good luck with that - the only stuff I've seen for sale lately has been on eBay and years out of date kept in unknown conditions. :(
I'm not even sure it's still being manufactured, or at least in a public available format anyway.

Fair enough, although I have seen it on sale here in India! But then a lot of people here still use film cameras anyway, so perhaps there's enough of a market for it. I wonder if anyone will step in and produce infrared film in the same way a group are trying to resurrect Polaroid film.

I'll have a look around if you like, but I really can't vouch for the quality. Storage conditions here can be problematic to say the least - air conditioners are rarely left on overnight and there's no guarantee fridges will be working all the time due to regular power cuts. Which means not only is the film quality suspect, but getting a decent bottle of wine here is a nightmare!

I have a Lightroom preset that gives me an infrared-like output. I didn't need to butcher a Canon to get it either.
