I'm after one that's maybe a foot max in height when fully extended. The Gorillapods seems to have some negative reviews on Amazon which put me off. Looked at a nice Sunpak one which had a built-in spirit level but it's not available in the UK at the moment. Any obvious choices? Ideally needs a spirit level - other than that, not fussed. It's for the G12. |

I've got a gorillapod and it's quite good. It doesn't have a level but it can be used for fairly hefty cameras and will fit in places that a normal tripod won't. |

Some of the tiny ones can be flimsy, make sure you test them beforehand if possible. |

Testing them might be difficult if they're from online stores! ![]() TBH I'd need it mostly for outdoors when shooting sky/landscapes, especially if bracketing or if I let the camera do its own version of HDRI. |
