An Introduction to Time-Lapse Photography Apart from the stunning movies in that page, the techniques are worthy of trying out. I think Paul (zolo) has done some animation in the past, but I really want to have a go at a time-lapse shoot. If only I had the time! |

I have indeed. Here is what happens when I go for a walk and take a picture every 5 steps or so: http://www.flickr.com/photos/hairydalek ... 072517739/ And this is what happened when I stuck a camera out of my window, took pictures every few minutes for 24 hours. http://www.flickr.com/photos/hairydalek ... 0854476030 (the camera was crappy for this one, BTW). |

I seem to recall you did some stop-frame animation, too. Do you have those online anywhere? |

Oh - yes. Hang on. I’ll post the YouTube version for all to see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uV_ywAkk7u0 Same movie on my old .Mac web space. http://homepage.mac.com/paulzolo/Movies ... ter25.html The Stikfas people liked it. I also wrote a tutorial for MacUser many years ago (2001 IIRC) on how to do stop frame animation with a digital camera, a Mac and iMovie. Since then, a lot of stop-frame animation software has appeared, which made it pretty much obsolete. |
