Just as simple as the title suggests, are you left or right eyed?
I'm a lefty as far as seeing goes.

I'm a righty, even though my left eye is the better one.
It's simply impractical to use the left eye with my DSLR and not have my nose and right side of the face completely in the way of the controls.
*shrug*

I'm right-eyed, which is apparently unusual for someone who's also right-handed.
To test, point at a distant object, then close each eye in turn. The eye in which the finger is lined up with the object will tell you whether you are left- or right-eyed,

I tend to use my left eye looking through the viewfinder, although I always keep both eyes open (a snapper at work once told me that and it does make a difference).

Apparently I'm left eyed then, although I use my right when taking photos

To test which eye you use for seeing do the following...
With both eyes open, find a vertical line (edge of a brick wall or something) and hold your finger up to it.
Now shut your left eye. If your finger has moved off the line then you are left eyed, if not, you are right eyed.

That's me. If I'm using my super-whizzy angle finder, though, I can use either eye because my face is away from the back of the camera. When using the viewfinder normally, I find I push my right cheek against the LCD, and look a little to the right through my right eye. I still can't see all the info in the finder, though, because I'm blessed with specs.

Right eyed. However, it’s also the one with the astigmatism, which I am finding makes focussing a camera harder (the dipotic doesn’t seem to help in this issue - stuff close up is out of focus without the glasses). So I have been training myself to use my left eye, which is becoming more of a habit. Makes accessing some of the controls on the DSLR harder.

I am also right eyed and right handed. I also tried using the Dioptre adjustment lever on both the F60 and F65, (both Nikons) and can now take pictures without my glasses on! Yay!
