The Fujifilm Distinctions Awards 2009 has an open brief. So whether your image is from a personal project or from a commission, as long as it was shot on any film by Fujifilm, you can enter it into the competition. Furthermore, the awards are open to everyone, worldwide: professionals, enthusiasts, students – everyone. There are three cash prizes. The overall winner will receive £1,000. The second placed photographer will receive £500 and third place will receive £250. A shortlist of Merit winners will be chosen at the start of September 2009 by our judging panel of photographic industry experts. Each Merit winner will be invited to submit a print for final judging. Entries can be submitted from 1 April 2009 and the closing date is 1 September 2009.
