Probably a stupid question, but anyway I can get paid?

Just discovered I'm in a picture that's on the back of the 13/14 Crystal Ski hard copy brochure...

Are you a subject of the photo, or just filling? Also, did you sign a model release? I expect payment depends on the image, how it’s used, etc..

Your employment contract may cover use of your image for publicity purposes.

Isn't the issue with the photographer than with the magazine? (unless magazine employs photographer permanently)

I'm just the filling. I wasn't employed by them when the photo was taken.

But after some more digging. It would appear the photographer (my friend/business partner from last winter) posted the image to Facebook. So that's the end of that!

So Facebook are responsible! Now who so that coming?
