I was working so I couldn't stay up till three for the blood moon, but I got some pics.

This probably counts as one of the better ones:

I got a couple - nothing too exciting - which I'm planning to post online tomorrow (technically later today, but I've not slept yet, so tomorrow for me).

I did get up specially to take some photos of the blood moon but they haven't come out terribly well (look at bit blurry) as far as I can tell from the screen on my camera.
Will be checking them out tonight on the computer and will see if there are any worth uploading

Huzzah, I finally got around to putting some up on my site.
I might get around to putting them on Flickr at some point.

Nice! One question though - why is the grass blue in Moonrise 3?

It was illuminated by one of those blue lights that sometimes you see under bridges, only this one was on a proper light pole.
The promenade that the image was taken from actually has a mixture of white light illuminating the path and the blue lights placed every third pole (or so) lighting the beach area.
I don't really know the purpose of why the lights are blue.

Thanks for taking the time to look through the images.

i know that there was a big thing, a few years ago, about putting blue light in nightclub toilets, as it apparently makes it more difficult to inject themselves... Could this be the case here, also?
