Is it just me or does the person holding the camera at the top of the article look like John Barrowman?
Anyway, nice article.
Interesting about the tripod stuff. I've always done macro stuff hand-held.
I'll have to experiment a bit with that

I read an article recently on how Live View can help you achieve better/sharper focus in macro pics. It was in Practical Photography I believe. Very useful tips to be honest. |

I think that was for Canons because of a digital zoom on live view iirc, although I probably didn't.

No thats about right. You can zoom in on the live view image and make sure the focus is spot on - in a nutshell. |
