Add to my horde -
One LowePro Primus Minimus AW back pack. (£45!)
One battery grip for the 500D.
One cable remote release (won this morning on eBay for less than a tenner inc. postage).

Thinking about tripods and filters next.

I'd love a grip for mine but they're quite rare and pricey.

I recently added:

Sigma 55mm UV Filter
Lens Pen Original
Got rid of the WB500 and picked up a Lumix TZ7

Still on the shopping list (looks a million miles away right now!):

Sigma 10-20
Tamron 28-75
Diana F+

I've just bought a case to hold all of my bits and pieces...

I've got one of them full of Minolta film gear. As I recall the 'skin' is textured to such a degree that accidental contact results in much bleeding of hands, wrists, elbows etc. It was a cheap case

I just got me a Dust-Aid Platinum sensor cleaning kit.
I'm going to use it tonight and I'm already bricking it.

18 years of sobriety should stand you in good stead ;)

Do yourself a favour and eliminate all the ancilliary niggles like charge your battery so mirror lock up doesn't fail and make sure you have everything set up and readily available. A decent light source is a must and try and make the environment you will be using as dust free as possible.

I use sensor swabs and Eclipse 2 fluid and the first time I cleaned my sensor on the 40D I was bricking it. It gets easier with practice and soon you'll be thinking what all the fuss was about. Let us know how you get on.

What yer man said.

I've got that set, and used it. It does work, but don't be too pernickety.

There will be some specks that refuse to come away. I still have spots that show up, but as they tend to be in the busier bits of the image and only become obvious below ƒ/16, they're not so obvious.

Found a used Fuji S9500 going for £99 on Wednesday, just walked past a shop window and saw it there.

Now I know that many here will ask why I spent money on a bridge camera when I should have saved for a dSLR, but it's still a bloody good camera, even though it's 5 years old it can hold its own against many of the prosumer dSLRs today.

And besides, for £99 I got a lot of camera for not a lot of cash.

Never having heard of it I did a quick search and according to THIS REVIEW it sounds as though you've found a bargain, which I hope will live up to your expectations! :D

I found that exact same review, after I bought the camera and immediately entered smug mode.

Just won a Mamiya ZE 35mm body with a 28mm lens on it. :D
Which is completely what I need in my life - an obsolete camera system with lenses that are difficult to find. Awesome. 8-)

You can add a Diana MIni Lomo camera to my collection. Good fun, and confuses the film developing people with the irregular sized multiple exposed negatives :D

I've got one of them in the carp room, and I'm going to try and find it this weekend, as I'm sure it's got a couple of decent lenses for my D90.

Great camera though... hope you have as much fun with your as I did with mine, (and the F65) :D 8-)
