Over the weekend, I met up with a few Crossfire drivers, and one has a rig for mounting his camera on his car. It’s all done with suction cups.



He added a third leg fixed to the boot lid to stabilise the camera even more after I took this picture.

This is the kind of photos he can take with the rig. It’s very solid. He takes it on tracks.

If anyone rigs something similar (I once did it using magic arms and a video camera in uni) just be very careful of where you put the camera.
I've seen a professional driver forget that the fire engine he was driving had a rig on the side, and drive the whole lot straight into a lamp post.
