This could hinder any sort of transition to OpenOffice (Or StarOffice) from MS Office by companies. It's not a good thing whatever way you slice it...

Still Oracle makes money, Sun rarely did...

Well Oracle have a captive market in some respects. They are very profitable. They need to keep Larry Ellison supplied with Super Yachts.
