I'm sure he was pissed off, but there's no need to be that much of a prat about it...

Oooh... I thought maybe he owned a Bristol.
I could understand his anger, in that case.
But otherwise, meh.

Looks about as good as many of the stories that appear on the 'Angry people in local newspapers' Blog. Which in a bizarre way appeal to my odd sense of humour. http://apiln.blogspot.com/

If you go for a test drive in a new Bristol, you will be driving the car they will sell you.

I understand that they interview you as well. Legend has it that they refused to sell one to James May because he knows Jeremy Clarkson.

What about punishing the pilot for landing near houses? The pilot sounds white middle class so let him go, arrest the foreign gentleman who complains.

This is quite true. Years ago, Dad was thinking of buying a 411. He rang Bristol to find out more about the company, Tony Crook answered the phone. After talking to my father at length about what he did for a living, his history and so on, he conceded 'Yes, I think we'd like you to have one of our cars.'
Roll on a few years, and a friend of my fathers got the bug for a Bristol.
Off he went to the company, and instead of being able to say 'I'd like a Bristol in this colour and that option', Tony Crook took him for a drive and told him this was the car they were prepared to sell him, in this colour, not the one he wanted. He wasn't going to sell the other one he was interested in, as it was a 'development' model and there were things on it that were company secrets.
Bob got very upset about the whole thing and didn't buy it.

With a bit of luck the passengers shat themselves so badly they won't do anything so selfish again. Perhaps if they'd crashed and burned it would have set an even better example.

I don't know who they were, but one imagines they're the kind of self centred filthy rich bat*rds who think it's all right to run rough-shod over peasants, senselessly destroy the environment and pretty much anything else they want because they're more important than anyone or anything else...

Saying that, the foreign bloke drives a Range Rover so he's not exactly smelling of roses either...

Are you allowed to land a helicoper on just any bit of ground you want?
I'd have thought there'd be restrictions on that sort of thing to protect people and property.

That was my point. It was not as if it were private ground. Hence my anger at the pilot.
