^^^I do. They use IE at work and I can't download anything or use portable versions because of the way the system is set up.
I open all the threads I want to read in each tab, per page. Makes it easier to keep, er, tabs on which threads you've read.

Apple would just use CoverFlow as an alternative. They seem to be using it for anything or everything these days.

Are they insane????? Tabbed browsing rocks! Though it was better in FF2 than FF3 (Stupid delay in FF3 is completely uncalled for)

I like tabbed browsing. I can’t imagine being without it now.

Indeed, I'm very glad the dark days of having multiple instances of your browser open are long gone!

On the other hand, the amount of times one of the web apps at work crashes Firefox, I wish every windows was a completely new instance...

I do like the fact they are looking for a better alternative. If someone has a better idea, then great. I wish I could come up with one! Tabs work fine until you have too many. Windows can stack similar apps on the taskbar, so perhaps that would be a start. Only two of my 10 tabs are on the same site though, and I often have 20 or more. I miss my wide screen monitor! Absolutely. I was kinda hoping they'd introduce that with 3.1 but I've not heard anything. It's the only good thing about Chrome, imo.

Hmm, doesn't show many tabs... Shows about 5 of the 15 tabs I currently have open... Nice idea and useful on widescreen displays, where vertical space is an issue... As to replacing tabs, why not? Just because tabs rock, doesn't mean there isn't a better concept out there. Times change. Microsoft are evidently changing the Save icon from being a floppy disk to something else, because we now have a generation of users who have never seen a floppy drive, let alone a floppy disk...
