Doesn’t he know that he’s unpopular?

Quote:
Mr Blair said: "I don't want the public to be inconvenienced by the inevitable hassle caused by protesters."

Quote:
Lindsey German, convener of the Stop The War Coalition, said the former prime minister "was too frightened to appear at the book signing because he knows that the protests represent widespread opposition to his war-mongering".

He lives in his own little world, doesn’t he?

Given his autobiography is apparently the fastest selling book in the genre ever, I'd say 'unpopular' isn't the best word you could use to describe him. 'Unloved' is probably a much more arguable description.

As for giving up the book tour thing given what they reportedly had to be in ireland - closing off streets and bringing in dozens of coppers and etc - I think he's made a good decision. First time for everything...

Yes but was a disaster watching all his mistakes before he made one good decision. ;)
