point 1) no chance
i have no time for bureaucrats or management in any way shape or form
they have taken the coin then they will have to live with it ...

point 2) it cost me a lot of time, money, police and court time to have removed a headmistress and 2 governors from my local school when my youngest daughter was beaten up by several boys

the, so called, governors were the, so called, parents of two of the boys

my daughter remained in school they did not ...

So you tar the WHOLE profession because of one incident. That’s a very sad outlook you have there. Very sad.

they are all the same looking out for themselves and there index linked pensions
all of them stick together like glue to protect themselves and the 'so called' profession ...

My wife is a teacher. She's not like that. Ergo you a wrong.

I can more than appreciate your frustration with the school you had to deal with, it sounds bloody horrific to be honest. But most teachers on the ground are a hell of a long way from being beaurocrats and managers.

Glad it’s not just me sticking up for the teachers!

choice ...
defend a colleague or defend a pupil
(you have to work with colleagues a pupil can be removed)

i know where the loyalties lay
the pupil would/doesn't stand a chance
the old school/s powers act comes into play

just as this dinner lady never stood a chance ...

i won because i have/had the money to take it too court and follow it through
i hope this dinner lady finds funding to move this forward ...

all teachers come from the same mould
all education facilities follow the same path
they all look after themselves, everything or anybody else is considered secondary ...

Do you know all teachers?

If not it's simply arrogance and nothing further to come out with such a statement. Creationism has more of a logical sound basis than that kind of posturing.

i know the ones i have had the misfortune of meeting

the greater amount of teachers that are sacked the stronger the education system will become

you can create without teachers ...

She certainly did break protocol by speaking to the parents about it outside of school, and it was not her place to discuss the incident. There is the potential for more harm to be done by doing this.

Yes but if the school did not fully disclose the incident to the parents they had already started covering up. Initially if they had been open I would thought that the school would have had limited liability in any action. They could not be aware of every incident. The fact that they only referred to it as a skipping rope incident without mentioning the tying up and whipping would mean that I would be far more interested in the school from a liability point. What the school should have done is call the parents, not leave it down to a single note which could have bee taken off the child by the bully as well. I would fully appreciate that the teachers cannot be everywhere otherwise they would need to supervise all breaks as well. Though as long as they dealt with it appropriately then that would settle the matter for most parents.
