Agreed. I still do not see them even offering it until they need to. The iPhone is still selling well months after launch and even with many knowing a new version is coming. The iPhone nano is probably so stripped down that it is not worthy of releasing.

Agreed. The home button must be an expensive luxury, if it adds $400 to the price of the handset.

They have not yet managed to get supply up to the level of demand with the iPhone 4. If they have spare production capacity I think that it will be focused on it (and perhaps the iPhone 5)

Exactly why try and supply a new market when they can barely cope with current demand. I think that it will be unlikely for several years yet.
