Agreed. I still do not see them even offering it until they need to. The iPhone is still selling well months after launch and even with many knowing a new version is coming. Agreed. The home button must be an expensive luxury, if it adds $400 to the price of the handset.

They have not yet managed to get supply up to the level of demand with the iPhone 4. If they have spare production capacity I think that it will be focused on it (and perhaps the iPhone 5) _________________A Mac user
