THIS is phone hacking!
Not the speculative guessing of a four digit pin number, employed by the criminals at NOTW.

Not helped by the fact that whenever I try to access my voice mail, I have to set up my PIN. It seems to forget one exists tells me that I need one. That's O2 for you.

Chances are that the security services know about this flaw and have been using it for years. TBH I have no problem with MI5 or MI6 listening into my conversations, not that I have anything to hide. My conversations would be rather dull though. I wonder how long before the papers actually use this technology?

I would definitely have a problem with that, despite having nothing to hide!

Isn't it more likely that some already have, but haven't been caught?

I suspect that they might have been trying but might have stopped the moment the current scandal exploded.

As for anyone listening in to my conversation I do agree with you, in having a problem with it, if there was no reason for it. I have no interest in over throwing this government violently, voting will do. Therefore there really is no reason for my calls being tapped.
