Well I can understand her not going through the body scanner. Imagine if the images appeared on some website? I do not want to go to the US until they get realistic about security. Personally I would rather go elsewhere. I am not the only one.

It does bother me the training/regulation isnt there and they still miss threats due to the fact they choose to make an example out of the young, elderly, disabled or in this case.... moderately attractive

I had a pat down when I went through Brussels airport and it was not that bad, but the pat downs used by the TSA are really extreme. They force the hand into crevices like between legs, hence her reaction, and from what she said the LA check was not done to TSA standards. The whole reaction of I would rather be patted down than blown up on a plane is also stupid. Passengers are much more aware of terrorists suicide intentions so will now fight back. That was how they caught a number of these bombers, passengers leaping on them and disarming them.
