The point I was trying to make is that if you kill a person in self defence with a knife I needs to be investigated properly.

I understand that the person might die sometimes but I would hope that it is not gonna be a deliberetaly caused death. And if it is it needs to be punished!

And yes there is a difference between stabbing someone once and 10 times, once probably wont permanently disable a person when the majority of people do it
