More mouths to feed, so more demand and a likely increase in market rates.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

You might feel very difference like a child rapist/murderer like Huntley if you did.

You might, but I don't. Thought he was scum before and I think he's scum now I'm a dad. That doesn't mean I condone murdering him though.

This thread is filled with fail IMO.

Where do I start...

There's a lot of public blood-lust in this thread. It seems morally hazardous to applaud an avoidable killing; no matter how little sympathy the victim deserves, it just reflects badly on us.

'us' require justice
the only justice in this particular case is the death sentence ...

Some of 'us' can see a difference between vengeance and justice. Some of 'you' can't.

If a wandering psychopath were to chance upon this thread he might reasonably conclude that the difference between being loved and hated is merely a matter of victim selection. Some of 'us' can see that there might be both a practical and a moral downside to this.

That's not justice, that's state-sponsored murder.

There's no room for "an eye for an eye" justice in the English justice system.

I don't agree with what happens nor do I wish for prisoners to take some kind of moral high ground and start murdering the worse (?) offenders.

On the otherhand will I shed a tear if someone hurts Huntley? No.
