It was only when it happened a second time that she went to the doctors. If I'd coughed up something that looked like a strip of liver I'd be straight down the doctors.
Still, hopefully a very lucky escape from a terrible disease.

I saw this earlier but don't feel we got the whole story. She was told the cancer was inoperable, but this is before any scans? It may well have been an aggressive tumour that has a low chance of survival but whether it could be removed or not depends on various things and scans would help decide this.

Hmm - not sure I like the idea of coughing up slices of liver.

What illness should you get to allow you to cough up, say, a nice rasher of bacon?
