I knew the military used such means, I just didn't realise it was basically the origin of TOR :)

I fully expect much muttering about the darknet that totally ignores a lot of people that want to simply browse legally without being spied on, or who want their own level of security...

A lot of people use Tor for bit torrent but in this case wouldn't host be similar to the post office or ISP? Would he be expected to scan and block such images? Could he? Unless the images were on his machines rather than simply passing through then would he be guilty. The article mentions a host server in Poland so maybe that is the real offender.

Great article written by someone who knows nothing about IT.

A TOR exit not does not need to be powerful servers etc, you can turn any machine in to an exit node
