Facebook removes ads from controversial pages

It is probably a way to stop advertisers pulling out completely. If advertisers were associated with problematic pages they would leave Facebook. This is more pre-emptive to prevent advertisers being affected by the content of pages.

Really Facebook are only doing this so that they don't have to actually bother monitoring the hateful content that pops up all the time.
