For the DM that's quite progressive :o

Bit dubious on the 'science' though. If only we had a video gaming doctor around... ;)

Games with widely spaced save points can improve bladder control. FACT!

I never really got the point of rage-quit tantrums. I'd just quit out and swear at the thing, then move on; but I know people who have smashed monitors, mice or keyboards. Imagine wrecking a monitor because of a game!

People react to stress in different ways and certainly lashing out is an expression of that stress. We are programmed for flight/fight and if you're not gonna run anywhere, then you're gonna fight. Against an inanimate object.

As for pain tolerance study, not convinced. I've stepped on things and had pain after playing games. I do however find my eyes are wandering around because I'm used to looking around the screen whilst my head is in one place. Hence I have now limited my gaming sessions to no more than 2 hrs a day.

If you can't control yourself enough to withstand putting your fist through a monitor, just because you get pissed off playing a game, you need a comfy room with one of those trendy long sleeved jackets; or a supervision order, at the very least.

If you have problems like that with a game then pain tolerance is the least of your problems. Personally I am lousy at such games so do not even play them so for me it is a non issue. Though I would imagine other issues would be of more concern rather than pain tolerance.

Since the last tapatalk update it is showing that I have more than 99 unread threads. I was simply reading through them.
