Shows that international companies are bigger than countries now. They will be the new Nations, replacing those formed of territory or shared religious belief.

Somebody should change the title of this thread to "Stupid story attracts massive overreaction"

A lawyer for Google asks a court to dismiss a law suit on technical grounds of jurisdiction. Suddenly that's indicative of corporations overruling nations, privacy campaigners think its the end of times, and the internet fills up with the hard of thinking as normal. Most of them, people who like to think of themselves as too independent of mind to read the Daily Mail.

When that Scottish hacker wanted to avoid going on trial in America, his lawyer made much the same argument. It wasn't proof that he was more powerful than nations, was it?
