The test driver for Marussia was found dead in her hotel room this morning, according to Spanish police.

Aw no, wasn't she the one that had an accident testing last year and lost an eye? Poor woman's been through so much.

Yes she was, so I suspect that the death could be linked to that when the autopsy looks closer.

An obvious guess is the injury she suffered that caused her to lose an eye may have weakened or damaged one of the blood vessels in her brain and as a result she (much later) had a ruptured brain aneurism that killed her.

Very sad.
