You'd be massively naive to think anything on the internet is completely secure, regardless of what any CEO or CTO had to say. All this says is that so far, they haven't been legally compelled to hand anything over.

Not that they could tell us if they had been requested. That was one of the restrictions. They NSA might simply hack the cables and copy everything no need for warrants. For 99% of us we are not really of any threat to the state until the state over steps its marks. This could be a step too far for most people.
