Or we could stop getting involved in sh1t that has nothing to do with us and/or that we don't have the political will for. I seriously doubt Mr Putin and the like see us as the main plank of a given fightback.

No mention of whether or not the Germans actually want us there.

Perhaps we should do them the courtesy of asking...
