What a f**k up! You had one job...

Seems tight not to refund the entry fee.

I can understand why they said they couldn't refund the fee; the money will have gone on a lot of things that they won't be able to get back (staffing etc. for the event). I do think they should be doing their best (including taking to court if necessary) the company that was supposed to provide the water, then using the money won to pay back the people who had paid to enter.

Turns out the water company had not been paid so it didnt trigger an order. Reminders had been sent out to the organisers. All on bbc news website.

Yeah, I read that earlier. Which begs the question what the organisers spent people's entry fees on? Doesn't seem to have been spent on paying their suppliers.

Well that makes my comment look like right nonsense!
