Mine's projected to be not far from that actually (caveats apply, of course). However I will have been paying a crap load of money into it for the best part of 50 years by the time I retire, so I'd be pretty cheesed off it is wasn't enough to be 'comfortable', TBH.

Don't forget the state pension - assuming it's still there is worth about £7k so you only need to find an extra £8k or so and assuming you have worked and been paying into a pension scheme then it should not be to hard to achieve

I've no idea what my pension is projected to be.
I do keep meaning to move the pension from a previous employer into my current pension though.

Assuming I stay where I am, I work to I'm 60 and my wage keeps up with inflation (so far its exceeded it) then I'd be in line for a 16k work pension in today's money. So all I have to do is buy a bloody house and I'd be sorted. .. maybe ;)
