David Cameron faces pressure to back sugar tax | Society | The Guardian
http://www.theguardian.com/society/2015 ... -sugar-taxThere it is again. Doesn't matter what it is; alcohol, nicotine, snacks, fizzy drinks, the answer apparently is to make it even more expensive than it already is. Don't actually
treat any issues that are arising, just charge more and let them continue. Nobody involved must take any responsibility.
It's utterly lazy, bullsh1t logic. The price of booze is extortionate at this point - has that stopped alcoholics? Pick any chocolate bar, it's smaller than it ever was and costs the best part of a quid. Hasn't stopped people eating them. Same with crisps. Drinks that are loaded with sugar and caffeine? Popular as ever even though there's a myriad of different container sizes all around the same price point.
Oh, and the producers are very much in bed with the big two parties...
