Transparent Aluminium

In one the Star Trek Film IV (where they go back for the Whales) Scotty has to "invent" Transparent Aluminium and gives the technology to a Company


I wonder if scotty is now working for the Univerity of Tokyo

If he is, using the keyboard of a Classic Mac is the least of his worries. Other “quaint” things he’ll come across are fax machines and cassettes. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-34667380

I'd no idea. I find that fascinating! And part of me loves sending a fax...

I also understand why they don't like internet connections - I often wonder just why so much company-critical data is accessible via the net. Many a machine shouldn't be anywhere near it.
