British Army instructors are being told to tone down their swearing, following a Newsbeat documentary.

Civilians to Soldiers follows new recruits going through the training process from the day they join up to the day they pass out.

Newsbeat's been told that the language used by some personnel is now a sensitive issue.

Anyway, a related great moment of cinema. Very NSFW. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3j3_iPskjxk

Jesus, they're going to have people shooting real guns at them at some point, assuming they're not lucky. If someone swearing at them gives them issues they're probably not really suited to life as a solider to be honest.

you think that 'film' was bad ... try the real thing. i can confirm its far worse, that shown is just a pussy cat club
but do you wish your armed forces to be fighters or something else. to fight you must be shown HOW to ...

Anyone signing up to the British Army these days needs their head examined, not sworn at ;)

What happened to TheFrenchun's comment?

To be honest, having worked for a bosses from nice to sabbering Segeant Major types, I have to say, I feel much more motivated when somebody talks to me normally and treats me like a human. If I am shouted at, I just want to get out of there and find somewhere, where I am more appreciated.

That said, I can see in the military, that they need to shout and be shouted at, and you need to get used to it, because under fire there aren't a lot of choices. You also have to be pushed to the limits, because if you can't work under stress and push yourself until you collapse, then you won't last long on a battlefield...
