wow. That's pretty staggering. The man has been acquitted of a crime yet the police can still impose an incredibly intrusive restriction on him, under penalty of years in jail? I can't see how that's NOT an infringement of his right to a private life to be honest. Even if not, it's a massive intrusion into the private life of whoever his partner might happen to be.
