Imagine if we had the whole rail network being run by an organisation where every bit of it could liase and collaborate with every other bit under tthe same organisational umbrella. Imagine how efficient THAT would be? We could call it.. I dunno... British Railways?

(note: Sarcasm. Also, whoever thinks reorganising things magically leads to greater efficiently REALLY needs to be first up against the wall etc.)
