Details could yet devil Microsoft's proposal to let consumers pick their browser in Windows, the company's effort to keep Internet Explorer on the right side of European Union regulatory law.

I can see where Opera are coming from here. Perhaps they should put them in alphabetical order too? Though that would still see IE near the beginning and Opera near the end of the list...

I can see where Opera are coming from as well. Its from the "OMFG why aren't we the only option as thats the only way to ensure we have a fair chance of being chosen".

Opera will have to face up to the fact that on a non-mobile platform nobody basically wants them.

It should choose a browser at random, download it and install it.

It is like Africola complaining about the Coca-Cola logo... :?

Opera really need to get a life and compete instead of complain. Mozilla managed to turn the market around and Safari and Chrome are making headway. It seems to be only Opera, along with Microsoft, who are having problems getting market share these days...

I suspect Opera's next complaint will be that MS are using their logo without permission.

Every time I hear about Opera, it’s about their constant whining and fussing about something. I’m far less inclined to use their browser as if I do, it will only encourage them to stick around and whinge even more.
