I use iGoogle to give me the top 10 headlines from:

UK/World BBC, Sky News, The Guardian, and Google News.

All of which can be moved around with a dragging gesture so it's viewable they way you like it - I highly recommend it, you can even 'skin it' 8-)

I've never used Reader. The thing about iGoogle is that it refreshes itself, and hovering over a link gives you the first paragraph or slightly more detail. You can also seperate your news into sections (tech, film, etc), which I like :)

Does anyone here actually check news sites on a daily basis, in the same way some people read the newspaper over breakfast?

I do except it's usually over lunch. The two sites I use are the BBC News and Times Online websites.

Was anyone else aware that Murdoch had lost billions?

I'm starting to wonder if the whole 'charging for news' thing was just a distraction...

If sales of newspapers (a habitual and traditional purchase) are down in general, what f*cking hope has Murdoch got online?
