It depends what it is, clearly power generation is a strategic asset, and should therefore remain in the UK. I have nothing against the manufacture of LCD TVs being moved abroad though etc.

Apart from the Aluminium composite substrate (or Tin-floated Glass), the Silver and varnished reflective layer and the Titanium Dioxide interference layer?

+1 for nuclear until we sort out some new doodahs

I don't suppose anybody's really happy about it. It just seems it would sort the problem for the time being. Some times you have to be pragmatic and just get on with stuff with what's available. I should know, I'm rubbish at doing that.
