Apparently, customers are “stupid”. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8241509.stmMind you, what strikes me as “stupid” is using a place where your name is given out so you can be readily identified to slag off customers. Another reason not to shop there.

This happens on most, if not all of the work-related groups. It happens on retailers groups such as Tesco and Sainsbury's ones, it even happens on NHS/hospital groups.
Quite frankly I've had some customers who I'd readily describe as "stupid", who hasn't?

To be honest there'll always be stupid customers, customers who are plain infuriating and people who just shouldn't have been allowed to mature to the age of speech. Thing is that they're the ones you remember because they're so frustrating and in the minority. It's good to vent, otherwise the poor shop assistants (many of whom are stupid, plain infuriating and shouldn't have been allowed to mature blah blah) will go insane and snap at a customer one day. Er. What?

I've no doubt that some customers are stupid. I'm also pretty sure some are simply looking for some assistance on buying equipment they might not know a lot about from a thinks-he-knows-it-all-turd. But how stupid do you have to be to have achieved the great position in life of PC World worker? You go you over achieving smart person!

Totally agree – having working in a Bank in a customer facing role many years ago I always felt that people should have to take an IQ test to open an account “A memorable one was a customer who told me she could not be overdrawn as she still had cheques left in her cheque book – as if the Number of cheques determined her balance and not the amount she had written them for” Having said that you must be a bit dim (to put it politely) if you slag off your customers using your real name on the interweb and then wonder why your firm sacks you
