No, I used to share a flat with a bloke who was, by any standards, very handsome and the number of women (well, girls, frankly, because this was when we were both in our early 20's) who would just talk complete gibberish at him when we were out of an evening was quite astounding. Sadly it was all for naught, as he wasn't actually interested in them at all.
It did prove useful though, because I now know even attractive women are just as likely to be numbskulls as the rest of the population, which helps no end with the issues described in the study...
