It uses WebKit as the rendering engine, so no different to Safari or any other WebKit based browser. I presume there are other features there which will make it more useable?

The V8 Javascript engine is supposed to be the fastest around - it is about the only reason to consider Chrome. But as I can't block JavaScript by domain with Chrome, I'll be sticking with Firefox.

I prefer Safari, so minimal speed difference for me. Though the fact that it is Google and with their data policy it will not be going near my machine.

I can't say I'm particularly enthused either. Won't go on any personal machines (Google's lack of Privacy Policies) but I'll play with it at work.
