I had a Mitsubishi Diamond CRT TV that went off like a pipe bomb, so I don't have much confidence in their TVs tbh  ;)

I still have an old working Mitsubishi TV older than 15 years and it works well.

But the main problems with OLEDs still exist in that the lifetime is only 20,000 hours, meaning around two and a half years of normal use.

Bugger that means I will not be buying one just yet. :(

I'd completely forgotten about the lifespan problems of OLEDs

Does it only affect them when put into a large screen, or used in that way? I'm curious about what happens to incoming MP3 players and laptops when they get older, for instance :?
