This is just frikkin ridiculous. The pizza place should be made to pay all court costs so the tax payer pays nothing.

Although the way things are going, the guy would probably have been invoiced to clear his name!

Technically it was the Crown Prosecution Service that decided to take him to court. Somebody should get a slap for it though.

People should get fired or made to pay the costs personally in a case that was clearly a waste of time. The problem is that because he was arrested his DNA is now in the criminal database for 6 years even though he did nothing wrong.
