No he wouldn’t. He was far too specific in the type of door. You need to be fairly vague as to the kind of door, so that future criticisms can be parried when it is obvious that it was the
stable door and not the barn door that needed closing. Comments like “We did indeed specify that a door needed closing. However, it was deemed prudent to undertake a full review to determine the exact nature of the door that needed actioning. In the meantime, the horse bolted indicating to us that it was indeed the stable door that required attention. We will now undertake a full feasibility study into methodology and procedures entailed in bolting the necessary door, and after a full public consultation into the effects of keeping it securely closed, we will take the correct course of action.”
